Description:
SUMMARY: Under direct supervision of the Parking Manager and Parking Coordinators, is responsible for parking of all events and all parking lots within the Reliant Park property, on a daily event basis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Include the following:
•Coordinates event parking with the parking Managers
•Coordinates necessary staffing and traffic control for all parking lots
•Ensures the schedule of work coordinates with events
•Supervises all parkers by ensuring all comply with parking policies and procedures
•Enforces all parking policies and procedures
•Assist with set up and tear down of all parking lots
•Monitors all parkers by ensuring that all staff complies with proper uniform standards
•Works extended and/or additional irregular hours including nights, weekends, early mornings and/or hours as needed.
•Other duties as assigned by the Parking Manager and Parking Coordinators
Required Skills:
SKILLS REQUIRED-Position requires ability to:
•Demonstrate knowledge in parking procedures, facility , industry terminology, and event-related services
•Demonstrates supervisory skills and the ability to resolve conflict and display a high level of customer service
•Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to parking lots; typical methods and techniques for parking; and proper use and care of the equipment.
•Understand and work from general instructions
• Senior Lot Supervisor must have a minimum of five years parking supervisory experience
(Preferred)
•Maintain an effective working relationship with employees and others encountered in the course of employment
•Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others
•Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States
•Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur
